Zap for Corporations

Medisch Spectrum Twente

Medisch Spectrum Twente (MST) is located in the center of the city of Enschede, The Netherlands, and has 4,000 employees. Employee car parking puts the parking facilities at the hospital and in the city under a lot of pressure. They turned to Dero Zap to help increase their cycling mode share.

As an organization you have as little work to do as possible to register individuals. You supply a tag and it all goes on its digital way.

Points for Products

Employees are rewarded each day they commute by bike. In addition to receiving their regular reward for leaving their cars at home, riders earn points which can be used to buy bicycle related products and services in a web shop. The greater their commuting distance, the more points they earn.

MST found that most employees lived within a 5 mile radius of the hospital – the ideal distance for commuting by bike. Their goal is to encourage those employees who are not currently biking to work to start doing so, and to encourage those who are already biking to do so more often.
